I can verify what Steve said. I tested with unar 1.8.1-4 on Ubuntu Wily
and it now describes the -L option.

Since this is fixed in the latest development release, I'm closing this
as Fix Released. The issue seems rather minor, but if you would like a
fix in previous versions of Ubuntu, please take a look at either the SRU
Procedure [1] or  Requesting a Backport [2].
