** Description changed:

  Under some circumstances it's possible to have the phone locked, with
  some of the numbers for pin-unlock being off-screen, and thus
  untouchable. See screenshot.
  
  In this instance it's impossible to unlock the phone if your pin
  contains those off-screen digits.
  
  The only way out is to reboot the phone.
  
  The shell should probably rotate in lock screen and the digits should be
  on screen when in landscape.

+  * Open an app which can rotate
+  * Rotate the phone to landscape
+  * Open the app spread
+  * Press the lock button while the app spread is open
