Well it gets past the texture size check. Tt still says '3D Texture Size', I think thats a typo as compiz definately does not use 3D Textures for normal rendereing (whoever wrote the script perhaps does not understand what they are).
However, it now fails as such: Checking for Xgl: not present. Detected PCI ID for VGA: 01:00.0 0300: 10de:0193 (rev a2) (prog-if 00 [VGA]) Checking for texture_from_pixmap: present. Checking for non power of two support: present. Checking for Composite extension: present. Comparing resolution (3360x1050) to maximum 3D texture size (8192): Passed. Checking for nVidia: present. Checking for FBConfig: present. Checking for Xgl: not present. /usr/bin/compiz: 376: /usr/local/bin/compiz: not found -- Gutsy regression - compiz no longer starts with a failed 3d texture size check https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/141543 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
