Public bug reported:

Steps to reproduce:
- create a new folder
- make a symlink to that folder
- open the symlink in a new window
- delete the original folder (and empty trash)
- double click on a tar.gz file in nautilus. File roller will open
- move nautilus's window so that it does not touch the file-roller window
- drag the compressed directory from file-roller into the symlink window
- file-roller will produce an error, stating that I do not have correct
permissions to extract files to that folder
- the error message box will be extremely large, and the "OK" button will
vanish once the window is resized

What I expect to happen:
- file-roller will say that the folder does not exist (or the symlink is broken)
- the error box will be much smaller
- the OK button won't vanish if I resize the window
