We are still using a blacklist for ASUSTek G60JX laptops in the Ubuntu kernel. Would it be possible for you to install Ubuntu on the other harddisk and then install the latest mainline kernel to see if the bug still happens? If it does, I'd like to create a new patch and avoid the blacklist.
The latest mainline kernel can be download from: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.2-rc2-unstable/ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1210848 Title: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS - intel ips failed to update for more than 1s To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1210848/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
