Responding to automatic request for added info for you to solve problem.
I am having difficulties with broken packages. I tried to install
postgresql-9.3 and received error report that postgresql-9.3-client and
postgresql-9.3-common were not installed because some dependencies were
not available. So I installed this two programs and reinstalled
postgresql-9.3. Received error:

* The PostgreSQL server failed to start. Please check the log output:
2015-07-14 21:42:23 PDT FATAL: could not create lock file
"/var/run/postgresql/.s.PGSQL.5432.lock": Permission denied
