Yeah, it's awkward. I tried to make a shortcut command for the desktop but it didn't work. I know that the mouse works when I boot of the System Rescue CD <http://www.sysresccd.org/Main_Page> (Gentoo Linux), so good code exists. I just don't know exactly how to extract it from the CD and install it to Ubuntu.
