Hi all. >From what I can see 2.10 has been packaged and is available in the latest Ubuntu releases. (Only beta version in Ubuntu 14.04, but the other ones look like stable releases) So I guess that means this bug can be closed.
Before I do that, I wanted to check what happened with the Unity-related patch. There seems to still be a mrDlib_jayatana.patch, so I guess some parts ended up being patched out in Debian. I only skimmed it, but I'm not quite certain what features/additions this patch covers. Gregor, could you perhaps elaborate a bit here? :) I tried running jabref 2.10+ds-3 on Ubuntu Wily, and the program did use the global menu in Unity. (Though if what I've heard is correct, programs get that when they are built on Ubuntu.) Depending on what else the Unity-support contains, I guess it would be easy to disable the patch to bring it back if wanted. That would create an Ubuntu-delta though, which would require more work to get newer releases from Debian. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1126510 Title: Please update raring version to jabref-2.9.2 stable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/jabref/+bug/1126510/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
