Public bug reported:
15.04, Inspiron 15R, ..19.0-23-generic. Normal auto boot fails, can
boot only from F2 key whose menu has options ( ), (upstart), (recovery
mode) only. Only Recovery Mode works, -> Resume normal boot -> Loads
ok, BUT screen controls are 'locked', cannot change resolution or aspect
ratio (circle is an on-screen ellipse. Only way to re-start a failed
boot from F2 is to turn off , 6 sec (').
I am a semi-literate computer person, but an almost illiterate Linux
person.
Best regards,
Michael Caola
