A friend @ Dell told me that some (or all) systems won't blink led when systems are sleeping, so I tried Windows 8 to see whether this problem is unique for Ubuntu/Linux.
The result: the led won't blink for Windows 8 either (clean Win8 + VGA driver). I think this is a design instead of a bug. ** Changed in: hwe-next Status: In Progress => Won't Fix ** Changed in: linux-lts-utopic (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Won't Fix -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1448832 Title: [Dell Inspiron 3646] Power LED won't blink or change color during suspend on 14.04.2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hwe-next/+bug/1448832/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
