Thanks for taking your time to reporting this issue. I looked a bit into this issue and discovered that it has been recently fixed in linux-ftpd 0.17-35 which is available in Ubuntu Wily. See the changes at http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-branches/ubuntu/wily /linux-ftpd/wily/revision/13 for details.
Since this issue has been resolved in the latest development release of Ubuntu, I believe this can be marked as fixed. The typo doesn't seem critical, so I'm afraid it probably won't qualify for an SRU (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates#When) for older releases. ** Changed in: linux-ftpd (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Released ** Tags added: string-fix trusty utopic vivid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1447844 Title: bad path in installation instructions To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-ftpd/+bug/1447844/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
