Not sure how to view the mainline kernel in the boot menu, I've followed
the wiki but I'm stuck at "When this process completes you should have a
new entry on your boot menu representing the upstream kernel. This will
appear as an entry like this:

Ubuntu Trusty, kernel 3.14.4-031404-generic
The headers-<kernelname>_<architecture>.deb and headers-<kernelname>_all.deb
packages allow one to build external modules."

I installed them individually via the software centre not sure what to
do next, I've restarted and nothing has changed, I've checked the boot
menu pressing F2 and I don't see anything different there.
