I've been following bug 1068228 regarding packaging angband-audio so I
was notified when it became available, and I decided I'd like to test
it.
I verified angband ran fine intially, but after installing angband-audio it
consistently segfaults when I attempt to run it:
$ angband

Removing angband-audio again seems to resolve the problem.
