Just upgraded. Same results. Did a fresh install of everything. Same results.
Did the following steps: sudo apt-get install gpgv2 sudo apt-get install gnupg2 Launch Thunderbird. Go to the menu and choose Enigmail, then choose Preferences. Check "Override With" and put in /usr/bin/gpg2 After that, I got this message: "Cannot connect to gpg-agent. Maybe your system uses a specialized tool for passphrase handling (e.g. gnome-keyring, seahorse-agent, KDE wallet manager, ...). Unfortunately Enigmail cannot control the passphrase timeout for the tool you are using. Therefore the respective timeout settings in Enigmail are disregarded." The Enigmail system appears to work, although I don't know how time outs are happening. Hope that helps! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1468978 Title: warns to use gnupg2 but package use gnupg dependency To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/enigmail/+bug/1468978/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
