>Now qtcurve - 1.8.18+git20150711-a3fff13-4 is available in Debian
unstable.

Great. Thanks for resolving this issue. :)

>Could anyone upload this package into Ubuntu?

Most* packages are automatically synced from unstable to the current
Ubuntu development release. In fact, qtcurve has already been synced,
built and is available in the archives for Ubuntu Wily
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qtcurve.

I haven't yet verified this, but it is very likely this means the bug
has been fixed in Wily.

>Please have in mind that package src:qtcurve replaces src:gtk2-engines-
qtcurve and src:kde-style-qtcurve. So they should be removed.

https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk2-engines-qtcurve/+publishinghistory
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kde-style-qtcurve/+publishinghistory

Both of these packages seem to have been removed from Ubuntu quite
resently, citing the RM bugs in Debian. (In case you need some more
packages removed in the future , I *think* all you need to do is simply
file a bug requesting removal to the package in question and subscribe
the https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-archive team to it. )

* Almost all packages unless they have been patched in Ubuntu, in which case
you can tell by the ubuntu-suffix in the version number.
