Upstream just committed a patch to add this new option to get MacMini displays
working properly. See for details:

I also reported this change to debian bug, so the experimental xserver-
xorg-video-ati version could be updated accordingly and include it in
Gutsy.
BTW, I know that confirming oneself's bug report isn't fair enough, but
I think in this case it's okay.
