Public bug reported:
some days ago after an upgrade i noticed that switching from X to any of the 6
vc i got just a black screen.
what is worst is that if i kill the xserver (ctrl alt <--) and gdm doesn't
restart for whatever reason i do not have any other option but to perform a
hard reboot.
Unfortunately i cannot state after what upgrade it happened.
anyway the upgrades i performed recently (at least immediately before and after
this event) did not include the installation of any major pkg.
should you need any further info, please let me know.
