I just tried Kubuntu 15.04 and you are right gcc is not installed. Maybe it was on Netrunner that I didn't need to install gcc. I tried Ubuntu and gcc, and everything VirtualBox Guest Additions need if it need something else, is installed by default.
Maybe it's a good idea to provide gcc (and everything VirtualBox Guest Additions need if it need something else) by default to ease the installation in a VM ? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1480363 Title: GCC is not installed by default in Kubuntu 15.10 Alpha 2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kubuntu-meta/+bug/1480363/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
