You are using a PPA version of GTK
libgtk-3-0 3.16.3-0ubuntu1~vivid2 [origin: unknown]
which causes this bug. It's not something which happens in Ubuntu 15.04,
so not a problem we can fix there.
You could ask the PPA maintainer to backport gnome-screenshot from
'wily' which has this problem fixed.
