Can you please tell me what I did wrong? I followed your instructions but I 
didnt know how to do the 
dch -i 
and not entirely sure I applied the patch correctly ( I just copy pasted the 
fix.diff into the file after the
"nano lib/modules/fglrx/build_mod/kcl_acpi.c" command)
