Thanks for reporting this bug. I can't reproduce it on a new trusty VM.
The package versions don't quite seem to make sense. Current package versions are: cgroup-lite | 1.1 | precise | source cgroup-lite | 1.1.5 | precise-updates | source cgroup-lite | 1.9 | trusty | source cgroup-lite | 1.10 | vivid/universe | source cgroup-lite | 1.10 | wily/universe | source But your log shows an attempt to replace 1.8, which no longer exists, with 1.9. It also shows upstart wasn't responding. Have you manually installed systemd? What is your current version as reported in /etc/*-release? Is it still 14.04? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1480742 Title: package cgroup-lite 1.9 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 100 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cgroup-lite/+bug/1480742/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
