  STEPS:
  1. Download the latest daily image of trusty from 
http://cdimages.ubuntu.com/trusty/daily-live/current
  2. Copy this to a usb pendrive using the Disks app
  3. Boot from this
  4. Select install
  5. System reboots after install
  6. It doesn't boot into the installed system though
  
  EXPECTED:
  I expected the system to boot and run
  
  ACTUAL:
  Presented with a menu that says
  No boot image discovered
  Press F1 to retry
  Press F2 to enter setup
  Press F5 to enter diagnostics
  
  VERSIONS:
  14.04.3 test image from daily
  Dell xps 13 with bios A05
  
  DEFAULT BIOS SETUP:
  UEFI enabled
  Legacy enabled
  Secureboot disabled

+ WORKAROUND:
+ 1. Boot from usb drive
+ 2. Select try ubuntu
+ 3. In the live desktop open a terminal
+ 4. In the terminal type "mkdir tmp" tap Enter
+ 5. In the terminal type "sudo mount /dev/sda1 tmp/" and tap enter
+ 6. In the terminal type "sudo mkdir tmp/EFI/boot" and tap enter
+ 7. In the terminal type "sudo touch tmp/EFI/boot/bootx64.efi" and tap enter
+ 8. Reboot
+ 9. Tap F2 until the UEFI menu opens
+ 10. Select Boot Sequence
+ 11. Tap on Add Boot Option
+ 12. Name it ubuntu
+ 13. Tap on the file dots
+ 14. On File System select FSO:
+ 15. For Directories select EFI/ubuntu
+ 16. For Files select shimx64.efi
+ 17. click on Okay
+ 18 Click on Apply and then Exit
+ 19. System should now reboot into Ubuntu.
