Public bug reported:

This is just about the first thing I'm doing after a utopic->vivid
upgrade.

The desktop icons came up in an odd place, about halfway down the main
screen. I used the Desktop menu "arrange icons", but that made them
simply vanish. I don't know what that is actually, so I set this bug to
the most likely package I could think of.

I could use the checkboxes under Dash->Settings->Desktop Icons tab
"Default icons" to make them reappear by clicking them away and back
again. But the desktops right-click menu could still make them
disappear again. I would expect them to be arranged in the same
positions they get when freshly created, but that's not what happens.

It may matter that I have 2 monitors. The main screen is on the left.
The extension is on the right and is larger, extending below the bottom
of the main screen.
