Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: scribes
Installed Scribes on Gusty, with all latest updates. Clicking the Close
button, or clicking the icon in the titlebar, then clicking Close does
not close Scribes. The program freezes for several seconds before a
popup displays saying that the program is not responding. At which point
you can either click Cancel or click Force Quit. It happens every time
the program is run, whether from the Applications menu or as a result of
doing an Open With... from Nautilus.
Using Compiz Fusion, XGL, and proprietary ATI drivers.
