Same issue for me. My Trusty is a fresh install from last year, constantly
updated when proposed by muon-updater.
I installed Eclipse for the 1st time today, then package eclipse-jdt I had
forgotten to select initially.
Launched Eclipse, just explored menus entries, wanted to click on the Tutorials
link, noticed Eclipse was unresponsive, before it crashed.
Rebooted my PC, launched the HelloWorld tutorial (please don't laugh ^^),
applied the first instructions before Eclipse crashed again.
I've just applied the /etc/eclipse.ini workaround, relaunched Eclipse and
noticed the aspect of the welcome screen (where the Tutorials link resides)
totally changed. A visible consequence of adding
"-Dorg.eclipse.swt.browser.DefaultType=mozilla" I believe :)
So far so good, Eclipse didn't crash in the past 15 min... (personal record)
