Public bug reported:
There are several issues with activiz.net's use of gccxml.
First, gccxml is now a wrapper around castxml. And castxml doesn't have
an analog to --gccxml-compiler. So that option is causing an error and
should be dropped.
Secondly, castxml generates looser xml than gccxml. In particular, for
Converter and (some) Destructor elements, it leaves off the name=
attribute. But cableswig (used by activiz.net to consume the xml)
demands that they have name attributes.
So something needs to change there, but I'm not well versed enough to
suggest what the right fix should be.
In the mean time, I'm going to ask the admin team to demote this from
the release pocket to the proposed pocket, to avoid blocking the gcc5
transition.
