Public bug reported: OS: Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS Trusty 3.19.0-25-generic #26~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jul 24 21:16:20 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Audacious version: 3.4.3-1
This is exactly the same issue as described here (even the wrong lengths are the same). It also provides additional informations as well as sample affected MP3 files: http://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/215 Applications like mp3info or rhythmbox show correct lengths. The problem is not only with displaying wrong length values, but also that Audacious keeps trying to play these files after their "real ends" and I need to manually skip them. It appears that version 3.6.* with the following patch fixes the problem: http://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/attachments/363/0001 -libaudtag-Verify-tag-length-info-against-decoder-len.patch ** Affects: audacious (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1484917 Title: audacious shows incorrect length for some mp3 files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/audacious/+bug/1484917/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
