Would be nice to see if there's installation log, to see if there's
something wrong that ubiquity uninstalled ibus related packages
unexpectedly. I can't really reproduce the problem and it's not a bug in
u-c-c (not a thing of displaying the list, but should be the engine or
framework does not exist).
