Not sure if I agree with the 'no big deal'. A crash is one thing, a crash that takes a complete session down instantly seems like a bit of a (critical) deal breaker, no? Also, since yesterday my symptoms have changed, now X crashes and the screen just stays black. Interval went from hourly to twice in about 10 hours. I can CTRL-ALT to a text mode terminal, so the OS is still running. I noticed yesterday there were some intel video driver updates, not sure if those had an influence on this.
