Public bug reported: Currently I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. And can't use Turkish Lira symbol. My locale settings are set to Turkish-Turkey but in the regional format tab the currency symbol is YTL which is the old symbol. The unicode character of new Turkish Symbol is U+20BA. Further information can be found at http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/20ba/index.htm
Also I've found this bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source /langpack-locales/+bug/1242416 about Turkish Lira. It states that problem is fixed but it's not.
