You've included the backup file ssmtp-2.61/debian/rules~ in your debdiff
as well as what looks like autotools triggered makefile rebuild. The
debdiff, even as is, can be simplified.
In debian/changelog, don't put the entire link to Gentoo forums. A
patch like this, that is large and may have to be maintained for some
time should really do into an actual patch. Please add dpatch to the
package and make your patch an actual patch. The link to where you got
the patch can go as a comment in the patch.
Please resubscribe UUS after you've updated the debdiff.
