The issue was caused by our auto-backport of LXC and LXD dependencies so we can guarantee a consistent experience on all Ubuntu releases.
This may indeed cause some occasional breakage when one of those packages revs their SOVER which is what happened there. We won't be rebuilding all the affected bits in our PPA.
