> Seems to be a regression, but not a regression in Mir. The code that was removed has been there for what looks like years. So the emulator itself has somehow regressed.
There are two parts to the failure: 1. The display configuration reported by Mir is incorrect, which is clearly a Mir problem. The MP fixed this. 2. Failure to find a proper EGL config when EGL_COLOR_BUFFER_TYPE is specified, which is indeed an emulator bug. The MP provides a harmless workaround in Mir (i.e. EGL_RGB_BUFFER is the default, so we don't need to explicitly specify it) to unblock OTA6. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1486535 Title: [regression] ubuntu-emulator fails to start Mir demos To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1486535/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
