There are two solutions to this problem. 1) Start viber from command line: Open a terminal and type: /opt/viber/Viber you can create a alias to avoid typing all this every time
2) Open the file /usr/share/applications/viber.desktop with sudo permisions and search for the Path=. you will see there is missing something from this line. just add replace it with Path=/opt/viber/ now you can start viber from the start menu. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1451207 Title: Viber aplication is not working in Lububtu 15.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lubuntu-software-center/+bug/1451207/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
