the package xsidplay -- no longer maintained -- was last packaged for Ubuntu
in Precise. The successor project, xsidplay2, has been updated several times,
as recently as May 2015, but is not packaged in the repositories. This
excellent gui-based player for Commodore 64 SID music files should be made
easily available to Ubuntu users.
