Hi Joseph,
I just installed and booted with the upstream kernel and it seems that
most tap events work normally again. With one, two and three fingers I
encounter no problems. Four-finger swipe up and down apparently
sometimes does nothing, sometimes produces keyboard input if the active
window is able to receive typing. Four-finger swipe left and right seems
to work as it should.
