Proper behavior with DH_VERBOSE sounds like a good to have, but probably
not a show stopper. Could you please look into the result of building
with DH_VERBOSE=1, =2, seeing if doko's extra change is still necessary?
Keeping the delta isn't a problem if it really is needed. The package
looks fine to me once the state with DH_VERBOSE has been verified.
