I have discovered an issue with davfs2 that causes webDAV to be extremely slow, this is possibly related to the cause of this bug, although it could be a different issue, which is why I filed it as a seperate bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/davfs2/+bug/1490555
