Public bug reported: pycode-browser the following dependencies added to its package requirements in source package 20120614+git+b041dd2-5 ****************** Needs these packages/dependencies: ****************** python-vte, python-glade2, python-matplotlib, python-numpy, python-visual, python-scipy, ******************
1. System: NAME="Ubuntu" VERSION="14.04.3 LTS, Trusty Tahr" ID=ubuntu ID_LIKE=debian PRETTY_NAME="Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS" VERSION_ID="14.04" HOME_URL="http://www.ubuntu.com/" SUPPORT_URL="http://help.ubuntu.com/" BUG_REPORT_URL="http://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/" ******************************************************** 2. This package has no version number, except that the source is 20120614+git+b041dd2-5 ******************************************************** 3. This pycode-browser should have opened up in a gtk window straight from clicking on its icon. 4. Instead clicking on the icon does nothing but cause the pointer to momentarily look busy. I had to start it from commandline to find out that it was python code that was unable to find the modules it needed. ******************************************************** The Apport did not detect any problems with this package, but the package did not work until I installed more Ubuntu package dependencies. No patch is needed, just more dependencies added to the package requirements. I have listed the dependencies that will fix it. ** Affects: pycode-browser (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: dependencies -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1490660 Title: pycode-browser package dependencies are wrong To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pycode-browser/+bug/1490660/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
