I see long contact names either cut when there is not enough space or
perhaps wrapped with the second wrapped line hidden.
For example, I made a (favorite) contact "Averylong Testcontactname" and
I saw only "Averylong".
And I made a (favorite) contact "Anamethatistoolongtoevenbereasonable
Anytime" and I saw only "Anamethatistoolongto".
In neither case is there an ellipse ("...") indicating the text has been
truncated.
