Problem solved. You have to use preseed mirror/http/proxy string http://<username>:<password>@172.16.0.5:8080 inside the ks.cfg, not setting APPEND http_proxy="http://192.168.0.11:8080"; as suggested by the wiki https://help.ubuntu.com/community/KickstartCompatibility#Using_a_proxy_.2F_cache_during_the_Kickstart
