Idem for me, but It doesn't come from kernel but from a package which
was updated the 12 or 13 September (the kernel hadn't been updated these
days) because I update every day and I noticed it yesterday night.
Notice that a "reboot" command charge the X server and gdm, and that
after it it works correctly without rebooting !
