Public bug reported: $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS Release: 14.04
AccessODF version 0.1-4ubuntu1 I have been trying to use accessodf . I currently am using LibreOffice 4.2.8.2 from the standard repositories. I installed the package from http://extensions.libreoffice.org /extension-center/accessodf/releases/0.1.0 and when it didn't work I tried various combinations of the accessodf packages and dependencies in the Ubuntu repositories for Trusty. I see a Tools --> Accessibilty Evaluation... menu in lowriter HOWEVER the menu seems to be completely nonfunctional (except logging a message as described below)/ I read the page at extensions.libreoffice.org (noted above) much more carefully, and see that it says > Warning: AccessODF 0.1.0 is incompatible with the sidebar in LibreOffice 4.1. With the extension installed, the menu appears and when I choose it a file appears in /tmp/accessodf with the contents: > [date time] be.docarch.accessodf.ooo.AccessODFAddOn dispatch > INFO: 0 If you launch lowriter from a terminal, the message above also gets printed to the terminal. One difference between the Ubuntu and dowloaded oxt: When I install the package using the Ubuntu repository, there are no visible options under Tools --> Options... Libreoffice Writer --> AccessODF [blank panel] However when I install the AccessODF-0.1.0.oxt file downloaded from SourceForge, the Tools --> Options... Libreoffice Writer --> AccessODF panel appears with two options [DAISY Checks and Braille Checks], both greyed out. ** Affects: accessodf (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1495670 Title: accessodf incompatible with libreoffice 4.1+ To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/accessodf/+bug/1495670/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
