A pre-release build of Marco is available that hopefully resolves this
issue. Please do the following and report back.
apt-add-repository pp:ubuntu-mate-dev/wily-mate
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
Use MATE Tweak to switch to Marco and enable Compositing.
