Ah, OK, I just tried with my Mako. So, this can't possibly work. The image contains a scopes runtime built with Wily. Due to the ABI break introduced with gcc5, libunity-scopes as a different soname (libunity- scopes.so.1.0.1 instead of libunity-scopes.so.3). The failing scopes, however, are built with Vivid, which uses gcc 4.9 and, therefore, these scopes were linked with libunity-scopes.so.3.
The only way to get these scopes to work is to build them with Wily and add them to the image. I have no idea whether there are any plans to actually do that, seeing that it seems unlikely that we'll be doing Wily phones any time soon.
