You probably shouldn't remove the use of the preseed file anyway as
suggested by that comment, it's usually not going to fix anything, and
might get you an incomplete or incorrect install.

As for these messages, they don't appear to be as being anything to
worry about, especially if it pauses at 'Scanning disc' for a while. Are
you saying that no matter how long you wait, it does not ever get you a
desktop, and you keep having the 'No medium found' and 'Device or
resource busy' errors showing up afterwards? It seems like this may
indicate a different issue related to video, especially if you see the
screen flicker a bit on the way.

I don't think this is an issue with usb-creator since we see the image
has booted, but for lack of an idea what else could be at fault, I'll
just leave this as a bug against usb-creator for now.
