Ok the untranslated string is in gnome-panel instead of Nautilus. Nautilus has the same string correctly translated. French does include the translation, but some other languages like Finnish and Spanish do not.
The string is simply missing from the language pack. The translations are included eg. in the gnome-panel-2.20.0.1 source package, so either it's just that for some reason French translation reached Rosetta earlier and some other not, or there is some problem importing or such. I'll keep this in gnome-panel package for a short while (it's more correct than nautilus anyway), and move to rosetta bug if the next language packs do not fix the problem. ** Changed in: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: nautilus => gnome-panel -- [gutsy] "Home Folder" not translated, even though translation exists https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/139370 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
