So, for my Motherboard Asus P8z77-V Deluxe, I have updated the bios to the
latest available (2104 08/13/2013).
Started machine with the latest kernel, but after about two hours it stopped
again.
It did not switch back to text console mode, it was a frozen GUI.
Switched back to previous kernel, with that everything is running ok.
