** Description changed: Ubuntu 15.04 file-roller 3.14.2-0ubuntu5 Reproduce: Open an archive and click extract. In the directory browser press Ctrl+H to show hidden folders. Cancel and close archive manager. Expected: This should have no effect on the file browser in general after archive manager is closed. Actual outcome: Hidden files and folders are shown by default every time a file manager window is opened. Workaround: Same as reproduce, this time press Ctrl+H to hide hidden folders. The setting applies to file manager. + + Credit: + This was found by user saphir89 on the Ubuntu forums: + http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2133298&page=3&p=13030443#post13030443
