The current unetbootin version from the developer's PPA is 613-1
uploaded 2015-07-20
I have tested and it works for me, also between the newest versions of
Ubuntu.

This will make users who do not understand to add the developer's PPA
use an old version, which is likely to suffer from some bugs, for
example the 'gfxboot.c32: not a COM32R image' bug.
Please update unetbootin in the repos :-)
